Following a week of hard frosts, we were pretty sure it would be safe to finally remove the spectacular Hornet nest from the tool shed, and what an impressive multi-storey structure this turned out to be.

Great to have witnessed the annual cycle of a Hornet nest, but fingers crossed, they choose to nest somewhere more convenient next year!
